Tax Incremental Financing (TIF) is a topic that's confusing to many, but is a tool used by many Wisconsin municipalities to advance economic development in their communities.
At the August 20th, 2019 council meeting, Oak Creek City Administrator Andrew Vickers provided his annual status update of Oak Creek's Active TIF Districts, with an explanation of how and why our city uses this important fiscal tool.
