In Governor Tony Evers' Safer at Home order, he encourages Wisconsin residents to engage in outdoor activity, but asks that people comply with social distancing requirements. Activities such as walking, biking, hiking or running are great ways to enjoy the outdoors safely.
However, team or contact sports such as basketball, soccer and football are not permitted. Playgrounds are also closed.
We still encourage our residents to get outside. Fresh air and movement are especially good for us right now. If you're going to visit a park, we just ask that you're smart about it! For example, if you visit a park and it seems like there are a lot of people there, consider visiting a different one instead! Social distancing is critical right now, and we ask that everyone is mindful about keeping that 6' minimum distance from others.
