The Department of Public Works offers a variety of cleanup services throughout the year.

Christmas Tree Disposal

The Department of Public Works collects real Christmas trees regularly throughout the month of January. Please place your trees curbside for this collection.

Spring and Fall Cleanups

The City conducts cleanups beginning May 15 and October 1 each year for residential homes and condos that have City provided trash and recycling pickup. There is no charge for these pickups, but there is a charge for freon appliances and televisions. Pre-payment is required for some items. Items must be roadside prior to 6:45 a.m. on the 15th to be guaranteed a pickup. Doors must be removed from refrigerators and freezers. Carpet and padding rolls must not exceed 4 feet in width. The following will NOT be picked up: paint, tires, batteries, fluorescent lights, hazardous materials, grass clippings, leaves, branches, concrete, dirt, gravel, shingles and recyclables.

Special Pickups

In addition to the spring and fall cleanups, the City provides special pickups for residential homes and condos that have City provided trash and recycling pickup for a fee. Freon appliances and televisions require an additional fee.

• recyclables.
