After living in five different states, Lisa and her husband, Jack, were looking for a place to call home and raise their family. They were drawn to Oak Creek in 2006 because it felt welcoming, convenient, and provided that sense of community they were looking for. Lisa and Jack have four children, Sean, Sara, Enzo, and Erin all of whom graduated from Oak Creek High School.

 Civic Involvement:

Lisa is proud to represent District 4 and serves on the Board of Public Works and Capital Assets, the Personnel & Finance Committee, and the Celebration Commission. She is also an active member of the Friends of Bender Park, working to enhance and revitalize the park, and is involved with the KTEC Schools of Innovation in Kenosha.

Professional Background:

She earned her degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and currently works as a Program Manager with the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) at Festo. In this role, Lisa partners with secondary schools, post-secondary institutions, universities, and workforce development organizations to train instructors and certify students in Industrial Maintenance, Advanced Manufacturing, and Industry 4.0.

 Favorite things to do in Oak Creek:  

You can find her spending time outdoors with her dogs and connecting with neighbors. Lisa is a passionate supporter of Oak Creek’s Fourth of July festivities each year, especially the lakefront fireworks, and enjoys exploring the Oak Creek Farmers Market. Some of her favorite local restaurants include Trattoria di Carlo and Georgie Porgies.

Why Oak Creek: 

One of the things Lisa enjoys most about Oak Creek is how safe it is and how easy it to enjoy the amenities and experiences of nearby cities like Milwaukee and Chicago.   Lisa loves that Oak Creek offers the best of both worlds, it’s safe and easy to navigate, with quick access to the amenities and experiences of nearby cities like Milwaukee and Chicago, while still holding onto its small-town charm filled with unique shops and restaurants.
