The Health Department offers an evidence-based falls prevention program called Stepping On. This class is for older adults who have had a fall in the past year, are concerned about falling, or simply want to learn tips on how to prevent falls.  This class meets weekly for 7 weeks, 2 hours each week, and is offered at no cost to you! You will hear from experts such as a pharmacist, physical therapist, police department representative, vision expert, and more.  By the end of the class, you will feel more confident, gain new insight into preventing falls, and even meet a few friends!

Contact the Health Department at 414-766-7950 or healthdepartment@oakcreekwi.gov  for more information about the next class.
