The Engineering Technician I plays a vital role in the Engineering Department, balancing hands-on fieldwork with essential office tasks. From inspecting erosion control measures and drainage concerns to overseeing infrastructure construction, this position ensures that our projects stay on track. In the office, the Technician handles drafting, processes permits, and manages communication, making them a key contributor to the smooth operation of our department.

Performs maintenance and cleaning of various City buildings and facilities. The schedule for this position is 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday and every third Saturday.
