Take an important step toward building confidence and personal safety by joining the Oak Creek Police Department’s Women’s Self-Defense Class!
The next Women’s Self-Defense Class will be held this fall.

What You’ll Learn:
This comprehensive course focuses on awareness first—helping you recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations—then builds into practical self-defense skills.
- Situational and danger awareness
- Assault awareness and prevention
- Verbal defense tactics
- Escape techniques
- Physical self-defense strategies
- OC spray (“pepper spray”) basics
The class also includes hands-on practice, giving you the chance to build real skills in a supportive, safe environment (participation is encouraged but optional).
Eligibility:
- Open to females 17 years and older
- Must live, work, or attend school in Oak Creek
