Take an important step toward building confidence and personal safety by joining the Oak Creek Police Department’s Women’s Self-Defense Class

The next Women’s Self-Defense Class will be held this fall.

What You’ll Learn:

This comprehensive course focuses on awareness first—helping you recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations—then builds into practical self-defense skills.

  • Situational and danger awareness
  • Assault awareness and prevention
  • Verbal defense tactics
  • Escape techniques
  • Physical self-defense strategies
  • OC spray (“pepper spray”) basics

 The class also includes hands-on practice, giving you the chance to build real skills in a supportive, safe environment (participation is encouraged but optional).

Eligibility:

  • Open to females 17 years and older
  • Must live, work, or attend school in Oak Creek
