• The Recycling Yard is open to all owner/occupants of residences which receive an individual property tax bill issued by the City of Oak Creek.
• Occupants of Manufactured home parks that have private garbage pickup may use the recycling yard for disposal of yard waste and shredding only.
• No contractor vehicles will be allowed into the yard.

The City of Oak Creek is committed to helping residents recycle safely and responsibly. To support this effort, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) offers educational programs and resources to guide you through proper recycling and waste reduction practices.

• The City does not pick up leaves curbside.
• Leaves may not be placed in the streets, alleys or sidewalk areas.
• Residents may dispose of their leaves at the recycling yard.
• See the Fire Deparment's Burning Guidelines before burning leaves.

• Mulch is now located in the northwest corner of the parking lot just west of 800 W Puetz Road.

• Pick up is self-serve only.

• Residents may call (414)768-6552 to be put on a list to have mulch delivered to their homes for $25 a load (4-5 yards).

A limited number of shred bins are now available for residents to drop off their documents for shredding. Shred bins will be collected every two weeks for off site shredding by Shred-It. 

NO binders, binder clips, plastic, or metals other than staples!!!

If you have large amounts of documents that need to be shredded, Integrity Fiber has free shredding the first Friday of every month from 6:30am to 2:00pm. No appointment is necessary, unless you have a large truck load you will need to call 262-226-0710 to schedule an appointment. They are located at 400 W. Marquette Avenue, just west of Classic Lanes, on the north side of the street.
