Online Tax Payments are now available. Click the button below to be taken to the payment portal. Instructions below.
Make sure to check out the instructions below for how to find your parcel and pay online. New features this year include the option to pay in full, and installment amount, or a partial payment at checkout with easy to use payment buttons.
NOTE: You can pay for more than one parcel at a time and only pay one service fee. Add the items to your shopping cart before checking out.
We offer the availability of credit/debit card and e-check payments for payment of real estate and personal property taxes. In cooperation with the City of Oak Creek, Value Payment Services (VPS) offers individuals and businesses the opportunity to pay property tax by way of credit / debit card or e-check online. This service is safe, reliable, and in accordance with all state and government regulations.
Please Note: VPS, the service provider, charges a convenience fee based on the type or amount of the transaction. The fee for credit or debit card transactions is 2.55% with a minimum of $2.00. A personal visa debit card is a flat rate of $3.95 per transaction. The fee for an e-check is $1.50 per transaction.
Credit/debit card payments can be made online or in person.
Accepted Payment Methods: Visa, Discover, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and PayPal Credit, ACH (e-checks).
To pay online, visit the Land Records Web Portal. You will need to search for your parcel and add it to your cart. You will be asked to enter information such as: the total of your payment, and credit / debit card or checking account information. Please have your tax bill and credit / debit card or checking account information available.
For detailed instructions on how to find your property using the Land Records Web Portal, review our How to Search Using the Milwaukee County Web Portal guide.
The system will tell you the total of your payment, including the appropriate fee; obtain approval of the charge and issue an onscreen confirmation number and a printable digital receipt. Confirmation is emailed to users who request it. The charge will also appear on your credit card or bank statement: the tax amount will appear on one line and the convenience fee amount on a separate line.
Payment Date Information
Your payment will be posted in our system once we receive the payment from the third party processor. The payment will display the date that you actually made the payment online, not the date we receive the payment. The payment will show as "unposted" until we receive the payment at our bank.
