  • Summer Seasonal Worker - Public Works

    Located along the western shore of Lake Michigan, Oak Creek is in the midst of a development boom and is one of the fastest growing cities in southeastern Wisconsin.     The Department of Public Works is divided into four distinct yet collaborative Divisions. The Public Works Divisions include Streets, Parks & Open Space, Forestry, and Street Lighting. This position may assist in any of these areas but will primarily be focused on Streets and Forestry maintenance operations.
     
    Hours of work are either Hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; limited to no more than 90 calendar days. Occasional evening and Saturday hours may be required for working at the Recycling Yard and for special events in Drexel Town Square, Abendschein Park, and Lake Vista Park.

  • Utility Engineer

    Under the general direction of the Director of Utilities, this position performs highly responsible professional and managerial work in directing and administering the Engineering Division of the Water and Sewer Utility. The work involves planning, organizing, and overseeing utility engineering, design, construction, planning, and technology systems related to water distribution, water treatment, and wastewater infrastructure. The position requires the exercise of independent judgment, advanced technical expertise, and administrative accountability to ensure the effective delivery of utility services and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
